I can't believe it has only been a week since I last posted, I am pretty sure this week has been an eternity long! Lots of training monday, lots of district people tuesday, Jes helped me in my classroom wednesday, students began on thursday, survived the day today with much more gusto than day 2 last year. My teacher voice emerged when the students were messing around lining up to go in, I couldn't remember how to get it until they really started making poor choices, and voila! Teacher voice!
Tomorrow I think will be jam packed between my long awaited chance to talk to Simon, structuring a very tight schedule for the week and nailing down year long focuses. I am sadly passing on a chance to go for a nail beautifying fest, but I think I will be glad I did so on Monday. And Sunday. I am going to try for Sunday being my day of rest this week, if it doesn't work out I'll try Saturday next week...of course that weekend will have THREE days!! Last year I found it was so important to set aside one day to really just be God's day and no work, I just don't remember which day I settled on.
I am so tired right now I am considering making tomorrow my Sabbath day of rest!!

Yay for the teacher voice! I'm glad you found it when you needed it - I had to use it a few times this week too. Look forward to hearing about your students!
