Why hello my dear friends. I write to you with 5 more days of Math professional development under my belt and I am now certifiably progressing towards expertise in California mathematics. Yes, I separated our math from the rest on purpose. I don't know exactly what the purpose is except to propose that CA math and True math may or may not be mutually exclusive. Anyways, totally not the reason I was posting!
I got my classroom keys today and hopefully I will be going into my classroom with incredible organizational vision tomorrow! I had a good phone conversation today recentering me on why I even care to have organization, so that is a thanks to Simon for re-energizing me! After working at school I came home and worked a little more and then read this hilarious children's book I picked up. I think it is too old for my class, but I recommend it to you: "The Schwa was here". Can't I reference books with pictures in here somehow?? Help me if you know a better way than I did that...
So then I talked to jen for an hour and a half, always a highlight :) AND THEN, I went to see Wall-e. Suffice to say I loved it. I hope you go see it. And love it too. Sooner rather than later. Go.

Wall-E indeed was amazing! Now whenever I hear/say/think of the word "ta-da" I hear it in his voice (it's from when he shows Eve the movie [I think])...
